yea I think you're probably right there.....hmm.....you've got me thinking now!!! I'm not sure I've ever really questioned why I rarely make particularly jolly art. I think, usually, because a part of me would feel dishonest to do so. Like, only the deeply painful stuff is the real truth. But is that really true? Are positive emotions any less true than negative? I guess they're less valuable because, as you say, they're more common, so maybe that's it. I just want to write about the things that don't often get mentioned in society.....maybe?!?!.....hmm.....I'll keep thinking!
